THREE levels combined into ONE team!
Tri-Level is a fun way to team up with friends who play at different NTRP levels.
A team match consists of three doubles matches – one doubles match played at each of the three different NTRP levels (for example 4.0 / 3.5 / 3.0). Players with the same NTRP compete against one another, with the highest NTRP level playing line #1 and the lowest NTRP level playing line #3.
Players may play at their NTRP rated level or up 0.5, but not lower than their rated level.
Teams are divided by gender – they are not coed.
NEW: Tri-Level matches DO impact a player’s end of the year NTRP rating.
A player may play on multiple teams as long as they are in different divisions. Example: A 3.5 player can play on an 18 & Over Division 3.5/3.0/2.5 and and 18 & Over Division 4.0/3.5/3.0 and 40 & Over Division 4.0/3.5/3.0. Players may advance on multiple team as long as they are different flights, however, there will be no concessions made for scheduling.
