The Spring Adult 18 & Over 4.0 women from Asheville Racquet Club South, captained by Susie Manley, defeated Florida 4-1 in the ¾ playoff at the Surprise (AZ) Tennis and Racquet Complex to finish Third in the USTA Nationals!
WNC Tennis had two State Mixed Doubles Championship teams this year!
- 40 & Over 6.0 – captained by Kathy Wrenn, from Asheville Racquet Club South and
- 55 & Over 7.0 – captained by Rick Johnson, from Hendersonville Racquet Club.
The Southern Combo Doubles 65 & Over 6.5 women, Pat McClurkin, captain, were combo state champions!
65 & Over 3.5 men, Rick Johnson, captain, Hendersonville Racquet Club – State Champions!
